NewHope Young And Wise
YOUNG AND WISE is the youth ministry of NewHope Church for students from 6th grade through high school. Our passion is to see the next generation grow into confident, grounded young people who know Jesus personally and understand who they are in Him. We want every student to discover their God‑given identity — loved, chosen, forgiven, and created with purpose — and to build a real relationship with Jesus that shapes their everyday life.
At YOUNG AND WISE, students find a place where they belong, where they are encouraged, supported, and surrounded by leaders who believe in them. We help them grow in wisdom and learn how to navigate real‑life challenges with faith and courage. We want them to understand their identity in Christ so they can stand strong in a world full of pressure and confusion. As they recognize and develop their gifts, they begin to see how God can use them to make a difference in their schools, families, and communities.
We believe the next generation is not just the future of the church — they are an important part of the church right now. Everything we do, from gatherings to small groups to mentoring moments, is designed to help students grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Our heart is to walk with them, cheer them on, and help them become everything God created them to be.
What to Expect
Young And Wise meets every other Friday from 19:00–21:00. We create a space where every student can belong, even before they believe.
At Young And Wise evening, you can expect:
Worship
Before anything else, we want to show our students what it means to pause in the middle of life’s busyness and turn their attention toward the God who is always with them. Worship helps them slow down, breathe, and remember that God is present, faithful, and worthy of their focus.
Message
The youth hear truth from God’s Word in a way that connects with their world and their everyday lives. Scripture helps them understand who God is, who they are in Christ, what it truly means to follow Jesus, and how they can make a difference right where they are. Our desire is for God’s Word to come alive for them—clear, relevant, and full of hope.
Small Groups
We believe real-life change happens best in the context of relationships. Every youth is placed in a small group with peers and a caring adult leader who is passionate about investing in the next generation. In these groups, students talk openly about life, faith, and what it means to follow Jesus, growing together in a safe and supportive environment.
Fun Time
We believe laughter, play, and shared experiences help build real relationships. That’s why every Young And Wise night includes time for games and activities that bring students together. Whether they’re competing, teaming up, or just having fun, these moments help them form friendships, feel connected, and experience the joy of being part of a community that follows Jesus together.
