Bitterness, malice and bad anger are offshoots of unforgiving character. There are people who say, “I will never forgive this fellow for what he did to me.” As a Christian, me and you are called to act like Christ and walk in forgiveness. Therefore put away bitterness, malice and anger.

God tells us in Ephesians 4:13 through Apostle Paul , he said “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.”
Why should you and me put away bitter, malice and anger from our lives? Because it hinders the power and the life of God from flowing effectively through us. . I discovered many years ago that there are no perfect people or place where the temptation of anger, bitterness and malice cannot arise. But we have a perfect God who we can run to when we are burdened with anger, malice and bitterness etc.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:28 (NLT) “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” I have decided that I won’t carry unnecessary burdens, rather I will give it to Jesus in exchange for His rest.  How about you?

The best is yet to come. Be blessed, Chima.
